Artist Statement

My work revolves around puzzles, messages, symbols, and the element of chance, ideally leaving the viewer with more questions than answers.  I utilize this method of symbolism to embed a personal narrative to connect my specific relationships to the broader universal human experience.  Communication, both verbal and gestural is integral in everyday interaction.  My body of work is a reflection of my thoughts and emotions towards my personal relationships, the people that have come and gone from my life, and the things that were left unsaid.
